A: Kane is her middle name. I don't know why she decided to change it...maybe she didn't want to be associated with Jonas. :)

Lost my verification when I changed my name, but working to get it back. Why? People struggled with pronouncing and spelling “Staub.” Got tired of “Stab” and “Stub,” so “Chelsea Kane” makes life simpler. I am an aspiring actress/singer, and I have looked into agencies, but I saw Chelsea Kane on ellen and she said she got on disney by applying for an audition and flying out to L.A. to audition. What does she mean by that? How do you apply for auditions, without an agent? ( Apparently it is possible) thanks! :)

A: Hmm. Her bio says she moved to LA and was the lead in Bratz long before she did anything on Disney. I think she was not 'discovered' but her parents worked her into the business so by age 19 she was doing lots of film and tv. And who says she did not have an agent? She very well may have had one. She had a lot of amateur theatre experience prior to doing film work.
