At the end, at the airport, she seems to think that Zach Braff's character dies on the plane, and remembers some kind of turbulence and Zach Braff saying "this is what I wish I did" when he comes back for Natalie Portman. I don't think he dies at all. Is this supposed to be ambiguous?

A: He didn't die. He just had a dream he was on the plane with turbulence in the beginning. I don't know the meaning of it for sure but i think it had something to do with him feeling numb because he just sat there while everyone around him panicked.
